Born in Maine, Julie grew up as the oldest of three children. Early on, she was designated as the family historian. This is because, ever since she was a child, Julie Pingree always had a camera in her hand. She began to take pictures as a hobby in Junior High and has been taking casual photographs for over 30 years.
Julie has taken inspirational photographs from Maine to California to Mexico. She has always chosen to remain an independent casual photographer. Her approach to photography has given many families priceless keepsakes. Julie likes to spend quality time with her clients to accommodate and make sure each endeavor is met with satisfaction.
Julie states "I love creating photographs that exceed a clients expectations. I am not a professional photographer and do not claim to be a professional. I am a casual photographer who loves photography. I like spending time with each family, to create a memorable portrait. I really have no preference. Every shoot is a unique challenge, with unique possibilities. When I am given the freedom to photograph casually - Clients are much happier with the end results."
